The mission and guiding principle of the World Development Foundation is to enable a platform upon which ethical public-private partnerships reside. WDF supports the full realization of the Sustainable Development Goals with a focus on vital issues such as ending poverty, gender equality and education for all.
WDF is a U.S.- based, 501c3 not-for-profit organization with Special Consultative Status with the U.N. Department of Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) in association with The U.N. Department of Global Communications (DGC).

WDFs Annual Objectives aim to add to the success of the Sustainable Development Goals through the foundation’s focus on the inclusion of private stakeholders through strengthened institution and public-private partnerships from a position mutual strength and confidence.
WDF supports educational opportunities, such as conferences, workshops, and other regional gatherings that enable all stakeholders to discuss ways to best promote the success of the SDGs in all corners of work, play, growth and opportunities for advancement worldwide.
WDF supports UN Member States that wish to use the SDGs as a basis for reconstruction, growth, and transparent leadership that echo the goals and intentions of those Goals.
